Description: A short documentary about Stuttgart before, during and after the war. The opening credits list a narrator, but the sound track appears to be lost. The camera portrays some of Stuttgarts architectural landmarks in the 1930s and documents their destruction during the war. A special focus is on a statue of Friedrich Schiller, which appears as a contrast to the surrounding destruction. Postwar Stuttgart is still marked by war damage, but also busy with traffic and life.
